Movie: The Movie!
Last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” saw a huge announcement by the TV talk show host. Kimmel revealed that for the last four months, he has been working on making the biggest, most star-studded movie in the history of Cinema, featuring a combination of all the film genres. It’s called “Movie: The Movie”. We kid you not. Looking at the talent list, it’s clear that Kimmel has made good on his boast. We’ve got the likes of Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Don Cheadle, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Cameron Diaz, Tyler Perry, Colin Farrell, Bryan Cranston, J.J. Abrams, Gary Oldman, Jeff Goldblum, Kate Beckinsale, Edward Norton, Josh Brolin, Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman, John Goodman, and Guillermo the building security guard. Oh, and Matt Damon (though his part’s been cut out. Again). But sadly, no Michael Fassbender, who has been showing up in every other film recently. At about 9 minutes, this is one long-ass trailer, but has lots of random WTF moments and LOL lines. Or is it the other way round. WTF lines and LOL moments. Anyway. Enjoy!
