Contrary to the impression Sylvester Stallone may have given, his next film “The Tomb” is not going to star just him and his buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger. There will be other actors to fill out the action flick.

Today, Variety confirmed the rest of the cast list for the main players. Vincent D’Onofrio, Amy Ryan, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, and Vinnie Jones have just signed on for the Mikael Håfström-directed pic. Previously, Jim Caviezel (“The Passion Of The Christ”) was also confirmed. With the exception of Vinnie Jones, whom I absolutely cannot stand, it’s a pretty good line-up. Yes, even 50 Cent. He’s by no means a good actor, but I think he’s just going to be there to provide some muscle, and that’s fine. D’Onofrio (“Full Metal Jacket”) is always a welcome addition to any film, what with his slightly deranged intensity. And Ryan (“Gone Baby Gone”) hasn’t been nominated for an Oscar for nothing.

Here’s a brief description of the film: “Ray Breslin (Stallone) is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.”

“The Tomb” has yet to begin filming, and no release date has been set yet.
