Amanda Seyfried is one of those starlets who’re not averse to taking off their clothes for the camera. At the risk of sounding like a perv, I must say she’s quite a… err, healthy girl. But can she act? The jury’s still out on that one. In a meta sort of way, she’s now starring in a biopic of legendary 70s porn actress Linda Lovelace. So bad acting (while she’s in character, on camera) is expected. In any case, Seyfried’s got a pretty solid supporting cast behind her. “Lovelace” also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, James Franco, Eric Roberts, Adam Brody, Chloe Sevigny and Sarah Jessica Parker. That’s quite a line-up.

Today, Millennium Films debuted a poster for the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, where the film will be making its bow. It’s a clean, simple design reminiscent of a magazine cover. The porn subject matter is subtly conveyed in the tagline. Tastefully done. And Seyfried sure can rock the 70s glam…

Here’s the official description: “Based on Eric Danville’s bio “The Complete Linda Lovelace,” the film follows Linda Boreman’s rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972′s Deep Throat, and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano. The story is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life.”

“Lovelace” hasn’t got an official release date yet. The biopic is directed by Oscar-winning documentary makers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, from a script by Merritt Johnson.
