One of many iconic elements of James Bond is his wardrobe. An immaculate tuxedo or suit is as essential to the character as a Fedora and leather jacket is to Indiana Jones. Say what you will about Daniel Craig as Bond, but you cannot argue that he looks damned good in formal wear. What more when the label is none other than Tom Ford. That’s who costume designer Jany Temime is using for “Skyfall”. In this videoblog, the French costumer discusses the challenges of dressing a character like this to withstand the demands of action. Temime is best known for designing the outfits in the “Harry Potter” saga. Here, it’s a decidedly more realistic look, but in some ways it’s more difficult since she has to keep Agent 007 looking both timeless yet contemporary.

Here’s the official description: “Daniel Craig is back as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in “Skyfall,” the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In “Skyfall,” Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

“Skyfall” also stars Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Tonia Sotiropoulou. It premieres 9th November.
