Gong Hei Fatt Choy!!!

Okay, so this greeting comes on the 2nd day of CNY.

The first day was kinda crazy for me, with family and friends gathering at my parents’ home for our annual Open House party. This year’s celebration was a little more low-key than usual, since my eldest brother couldn’t make it home for the holidays. Anyone who knows me knows how important family is to me. So it wasn’t the same when the family unit wasn’t entirely present and accounted for.

But. In a sense, I now have an extended family of sorts. You. And you. And all you fine young ladies and gentlemen reading this mewling baby of a website. So it kinda makes up for things. Plus, this year is more meaningful to me because I was born in the year of the Rabbit (which makes me only 12 years old. In wabbit years). I do consider electroshadow.com a Rabbit child too, though the site was launched shortly before Chinese New Year.  It’s still a 2011 child.

So, to all of you reading this, I’d like to say a very big “Thank You!” for your continued support, and a very Happy and Prosperous Year Of The Rabbit! May only good things hop into your life. And to commemorate my Animal Sign, over the next few days I will be doing a multi-part piece on famous rabbits in Cinema.
