Green Lantern Full Trailer
The teaser trailer was a PR and marketing disaster for Warner Bros. Then last month, a sizzle reel made a lot of the skepticism and disappointment go away. Now, a full trailer gives us a good look at the range of Green Lantern Corpsmen, as well as the villain. Unfortunately, the unfinished CGI that plagued the teaser is back, this time giving some scenes a cartoony feel. Hal Jordan’s (Ryan Reynolds) mask in particular is still a problem. Director Martin Campbell had better be working overtime to bring the effects up to par, or else he’ll have a total disaster on his hands. The good news is that the film has an epic, wondrous feel to it, and the action scenes look absolutely massive. The DC Comics adaptation also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins, Angela Bassett, plus the voices of Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan…
“Green Lantern” premieres 16th June.

Sinestro: A sword? How human.
LOL Mark Strong nails Sinestro to a t.
I agree the CGI still looks iffy. Hopefully it will be ready soon. I think the producers really took the notion of GL Corps being the emerald warriors to heart. It just needs to be a slightly darker shade no?
Love the fact that we saw a short clip of the yellow corps insignia (0:18)
But truthfully, I think Michael Clarke Duncan shouldnt have been the VO for Kilowog. I thought Michael Chiklis would have been great. IMHO lah. lol

I agree with yazs.. 2011 is a year for comic fans. Tee hee. I think the suit for the GL Corps look too neonish.. Maybe that’s why it looks overly CG and cartoonish..

Yazs: I agree that Mark Strong was a good choice for Sinestro. Esp since we both know what’s to become of him, eh. I also have to agree that M.C. Duncan’s voice is just wrong for the role. After all, I never imagined Kilowogg as a black dude.
Lady Alie: 2011 is indeed seeing a flood of superhero films. The bar has been set pretty high with “Thor”…
