While I’ve never been a huge fan of the “Despicable Me” movies, they do have a secret weapon in the form of the Minions. I love those little fellas. Their solo spinoff movie, released in 2015, grossed a whopping US$1.15 billion worldwide, making it far more successful than the main movies. So it’s no surprise that the Minions are back and heavily featured in “Despicable Me 3”, as this clip demonstrates. Get ready for an epic musical number, as the Minions taking the stage at a talent show. Wonder what Simon Cowell would have to say…

The sequel sees the return of Gru (Steve Carell), Lucy (Kristen Wiig), Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Nev Scharrel), while a new character pops up called Balthazar Bratt played by Trey Parker (South Park, “The Book of Mormon”).

“Despicable Me 3” is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Dario. It premieres 30th June.
