Electroshadow Is Three!

Electro 3 bunnies

We are three years old today! Woo Hoo!

The number three has a special personal significance for me, especially in the context of family. In the last three years of running this website, I’ve gone from flying solo to a happy little trio. And teething problems aside, I am proud to say that my original bouncing baby known as Electroshadow is still growing strong.

Despite the numerous hacker attacks and technical issues we suffered throughout the last 12 months, in 2013 alone we achieved over 4 million hits from approximately 48 thousand unique visitors in more than 250 countries worldwide. We’ve also seen an interesting geographical shift in our readership. More than 80% of the visits come from North America and Europe now. At one point, we even had to shut down temporarily due to an overloaded server!

But that’s not the only growth that matters. The site has also seen an expansion in the number of contributors. I’d like to give a special shout-out to our writers here, namely Marie B, Qiu Jun Xing, How, and Lisa Ng, who have all written some brilliant pieces in their respective voices. Also, a huge thanks must go out to Frankie Tong, my tech guru who helped rescue the site on several occasions when shit hit the fan. These people are very much a part of the Electroshadow family, as are all you regular readers and commenters out there. You boys & girls are what make this site what it is, and you keep me going when the going gets tough.

So it’s time to celebrate!

We’re giving out 3 classic movies on Blu-ray AND 20 cinema vouchers, absolutely FREE! These aren’t just original, unopened Blu-rays, they’re limited collector’s editions of some of Electroshdow’s favourite films of all time. “The Name Of The Rose” is a dark detective thriller starring Sean Connery as a Franciscan Monk in medieval Europe, sent in to solve a series of mysterious and seemingly supernatural murders. “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” is that evergreen Audrey Hepburn romantic comedy, about a socialite searching for a millionaire to marry. This is a 50th Anniversary limited edition, with stunningly restored picture & sound plus all-new extras. You won’t find this in stores here. And the 3rd giveaway is “Terminator 2: Judgment Day – Skynet Edition”. Everyone knows this James Cameron sci-fi masterpiece, but you haven’t experienced the definitive version of the film until you’ve seen this edition, with extensive and never-before-seen extras on the making of. Another must-have to add to your collection!

If you’re not a fan yet, all you gotta do is LIKE Electroshadow’s Official Facebook Page HERE. Each person is entitled to one cinema voucher per “Like”. If you’re already a fan you can still win the Blu-rays. Just personally introduce a minimum of 5 people, get them to “Like” our FB page, and you will receive one Blu-ray (title randomly selected). Just email me at [email protected] with the list of people you introduced, or just your name if you’re a new Like. Also, provide your postal address so we can send you your prize. It’s that easy. But this offer is on a first come, first served basis for ONE day only! What are you waiting for?
