Filming on “Transformers: The Last Knight” is currently underway in London, and Comingsoon was on set to capture shots of some of the cast — both human and robot. The classy lady seen getting into Autobot Bumblebee is Brit actress Laura Haddock, who had small roles in movies like “Guardians Of The Galaxy” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”. Speaking of Bumblebee, we get to see his upgraded car form, which is still a Chevy Camaro. Then there’s star Mark Wahlberg, looking all scruffy. Perhaps the ensuing years since the last movie have not been kind to his character?
Here’s what we know of the project so far: “A Paramount Pictures film, Transformers: The Last Knight is confirmed to include the return of Transformers: Age of Extinction star Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps, as well as a new role for Isabela Moner (100 Things to Do Before High School, Growing Up Fisher) as the film’s female lead, Izabella. Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock and Santiago Cabrera also have roles, as does Sir Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs, Thor). Liam Carrigan (Once Upon a Time) plays King Arthur in the film.
A few of the titular robots in disguise have also been confirmed to return, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Drift, Hound, Crosshairs, Hot Rod, and Sqweeks for the Autobots, with Megatron, Barricade, and Onslaught for the Decepticons. Michael Bay returns to the director’s chair for the film, which is written by Iron Man scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). Ian Bryce, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto will produce the sequel.”
“Transformers: The Last Knight” premieres 23rd June 2017. A Bumblebee spin-off will be released 8th June 2018, while a sixth “Transformers” movie is scheduled for 28th June 2019.
