Marvel is feeling pretty darn confident about “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2”. An early critic’s screening was held last week which was met with overwhelmingly positive responses, and Box Office tracking has this sequel pegged to make about US$150 million on its opening weekend. Still, they’re not taking any chances, and the promotional machine is now in maximum overdrive. So they’ve got a couple of clips from the movie to show off now. If you want to preserve the viewing experience you might wanna sit this one out, but if you’re clamouring for any footage to make the wait till next week easier, here you go…
Here’s the official synopsis: “Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.”
